Bright, deep and intense ruby garnet in color. The
nose delivers ripe red fruits, notes of herbs and trace minerals, while the
oak tones accompanied humeados. The palate is elegant with fresh, juicy and
dense texture. Round tannins and a bright end where you feel your berries,
fine accents and stony species that define its complexity.

Vinification: The grapes were harvested by hand during
the last week of April until the first week of May and carefully transported
to the winery. As soon as the grapes were destemmed they were gently crushed
and sent to a stainless steel vat for fermentation where selected yeasts
were added. During the fermentation process, which reached temperatures of
28-30 C, depending on the characteristics of the grape, the must (juice with
grape skins) was macerated with aerated recycling gradually moving the
liquid from the bottom to the top of the vat 1.5 times until the
fermentation process reached half the alcoholic volume. The alcoholic
fermentation was finalized by macerating the wine with the grape skins for
one more week to achieve and improved structure and more character. Next the
wine was separated from the grape skins which were then pressed to yield a
second fraction of wine. After that, the wine was aged in French Oak barrels
for 12 months. Previously to the bottling, 20% of a selective tank has been
blended to the original wine in order to bring freshness and brightness to
the fruit. The wine was then cold stabilized, filtered and bottled.
Tasting Note: Deep and intense, this wine shows a
brilliant purple and introduces itself with a fresh and characteristic nose
of the grape. Small wild berries, plums, blackberries, dried tomatoes and
roasted red peppers. The rising complexity also gives wet earth and stones,
graffito, fresh licorice black pepper and smooth spices. The mouth initiates
with juicy sensations and all the freshness of the fruit expression. Well
surrounded by small and fine tannins helping in increasing density, the
texture gets intensity and slowly leads to a smooth and vibrant finish of
impressive length made of spices, underbrush and wild berries enhanced by
mineral hints, licorice and tobacco.
