Introduced by an impressive, deep and dense ruby purple, the nose releases a
great personality of fresh meat, stones, ink and peppered violets. The ripe
fruit of blackberries and raspberries, with tones of sweet cassis juice, is
harmoniously wedded to soft spices of roasted oak, smoke, graphite and
toasted bread crust hints. Syrah

CONCEPT: The variety is a reference and a perfect example
of the actual debate between warm and cool climate. Limarí is nowadays an
acclaimed terroir providing the best of the two sides, wedding aromatic
freshness to impressive structures. Abundant sun-light, cool temperatures
and granitic clay soils join forces to offers spicy and flowered wild fruits
flavors backed up by solid and deeply structured bodies. The concept finds
its essence in the natural design of the wine, helped by a crucial aging
that translates precisely the expression of this selected single vineyard.
TASTING NOTES: Introduced by an
impressive, deep and dense ruby purple, the nose releases a great
personality of fresh meat, stones, ink and peppered violets. The ripe fruit
of blackberries and raspberries, with tones of sweet cassis juice, is
harmoniously wedded to soft spices of roasted oak, smoke, graphite and
toasted bread crust hints. The mouth is a true mirror of the aromatic fan,
but still very young nowadays and will ask more time to fully express
itself. However, the balance is already well present trough a rich, dense
and juicy texture, armed by a deep and precise frame of small fine tannins
giving depth and strength. This great architecture grows, step by step,
until a yet long but still firm spicy finish made of ripe wild berries with
mineral and floral accents... and time will release all its rising
complexity. Winemaker: Jose Pablo Martin
