Dense, deep purplish-garnet in color, with a very expressive nose that
features ripe wild berries, cherries and blackberries with a touch of pink
pepper and dried tea leaves. Complex and attractive with its floral side,
spice and minerality the palate starts very fresh with a liveliness

Drip irrigation Harvest:
Handpicked and carefully transported to the cellar in small containers
Analysis: Alcohol 13,5 % vol.
Vinification: The grapes were
handpicked during the fourth week of April and carefully transported to the
cellar, where they were destemmed, lightly crushed, and deposited in
stainless steel fermentation tanks. After a 3-day pre-fermentation cold
soak, the must was inoculated with selected yeasts. Fermentation followed at
26 – 28 degrees C (79 – 82 degrees F), with aerated pumpovers of 1.5 times
the tank volume in the beginning and reduced to half the volume at the end
of the fermentation process. Upon completion of the alcoholic fermentation,
the wine was left on its skins for an additional week to gain greater
structure and character. The wine was then racked off its skins, which were
pressed for a second fraction of wine. Part of the free run wine and some of
the press wine were oak aged for 10 months. The final blend included half
oak-aged wine and half tank wine. The wine was then cold stabilized,
filtered, and bottled. Tasting
Note: Dense, deep purplish-garnet in color, with a very expressive nose that
features rip wild berries, cherries, blackberries, and blueberries with a
touch or pink pepper and dry tea leaves and light tones of toast, pencil
lead, and some sweet spice. Complex and attractive with its floral side,
spice, and mineralogy. The palate starts very fresh, with a liveliness
delivered by precise acidity and a well-balanced ripeness. It remains wild
with shades of underbrush in the fruit. The still firm and lively tannins
are parceled out with precision and are woven into the structure with depth
and verticality. The finish confirms that this wine will age well for its
rigor and tannic imprint laden with wild fruit flavors. Best Enjoyed: Best
